You Better Move On
Arthur Alexander

“You Better Move On,” Arthur Alexander. Alexander cut this track at a tobacco-warehouse-turned-recording studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in 1961. Released on Nashville’s Dot Records, the song eventually hit #24 on the U.S. charts and laid the foundation for what would become the FAME studio and record label. It doesn’t get any better than the major-minor chord change near the end of each verse. Or the rest of it.
